This game was made during the “Black Cat” gamejam and was dedicated to our cat Minka, who sadly passed away 2 weeks before the jam. This game was made possible by artworks from the talented ArtByArluci
The Game
This is a 2.5D storybased platformer which tells the story about the life of Minka.
My Contribution
This was a project where i wanted to contribute as much as i can. Besides programming the whole game with Unreal Engine and the PaperZD Plugin, i did some 2D Art made with procreate. As a Non-artist i have to admit, that i really like my work there. (even tho i believe my artist friends could argue with that)
Trivia
Due to time constraints we had to cut some content, which is partially made. For example there is a working mechanic where the player can climb onto trees, which would be used in a cut forest level. (you can see this in the screenshots)
